Estee Lauder has partnered with Hearst Magazines Digital Media, and the communications agency OMD, to create a Flipboard magazine – the Estee Lauder Beauty Book. The digital magazine can be accessed through a Flipboard App. The Estee Lauder Beauty Book was created to communicate with consumers in a new way, and highlight the science behind Estee Lauder’s Advanced Night Repair. It contains full-page ads (one of which is shown) for it the product throughout the digital publication, along with links to positive product reviews featured on several blogs. In addition, editorial staff members from Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, and Marie Claire have created fashion, beauty, health and lifestyle content to the digital publication. “Flipboard is an incredibly creative platform for engaging, entertaining and informing women who are interested in beauty and fashion” said, Gustavo Andriani, vice president, North America Marketing, Estee Lauder. Andriani continued, “We are thrilled to partner with Flipboard to introduce women to the science behind the new Advanced Night Repair. The distinct voices and points-of-view from ELLE, Harper’s BAZAAR and Marie Claire will help jumpstart the conversation around nighttime and skincare.” The Estée Lauder Beauty Book is one of several brand magazines launched by Flipboard. Other brands with publications include GE, Capitol One, Lexus and Maybelline.
